Our contribution to Drupal Community Events

Richard Jones, our Technical Director presented a very poular session at DrupalCon Copenhagen in 2010 and went on to be the Keynote speaker at Drupal camp Edinburgh (May 2011). Richard is also a regular member of the "Drupal Expert Panel" and occasional speaker at Drupal London events which are held once a month. Many of the i-KOS team regularly attend Drupal London events to keep in touch with the local Drupal community. We make sure we are always represented at the largest DrupalCon events in the USA and Europe, including Chicago 2011.

Dereck Johnson, our Head of Design volunteers as part of the DrupalCon London 2011 Design Team. Simon Surtees is part of the team organising the Evaluator's day for DrupalCon London. Richard volunteers as part of the Marketing Team.

Code Contribution

i-KOS have been working with our partners Commerce Guys on the development of the Drupal Commerce module set for Drupal 7. Our senior developers Glynn Reid and Nick Abbott were part of the 2010 Paris code sprint and i-KOS was also in attendance for 2011 sprint. We have five modules in active development on drupal.org which are additions to the Drupal Commerce project.

Training and Mentoring

i-KOS were the first Acquia authorised training partner in the UK. As part of this programme we offer entry level and advanced Drupal sessions, as well as bespoke training programmes for enterprise.

Collaboration with Acquia

i-KOS work closely with Acquia planning new initiatives for the UK promotion of Drupal. These include webinars, development of the training syllabus for Europe and the adoption of Drupal distributions.
