Opportunity
We're seeking an individual to join our Sales organization as an Enterprise Solution Specialist for our Social Business Software product, Drupal Commons. Social media and online community adoption using the Drupal platform is currently exploding across the Fortune 1000 and Acquia's Enterprise Solution Specialists are tasked with identifying and penetrating target accounts. Our offering appeals to IT developers, CIO's, HR, Marketing and Customer Support executives - anyone looking to build online communities for customers, partners, employees etc. The Enterprise Solution Specialist will be given a territory, target accounts, sales revenue goals and will partner with the outside sales team to help qualify and manage the front-end of the Enterprise sales process.
Responsibilities
- Evangelize our value proposition with executive stakeholders across large corporations
- Target Account Identification and qualification
- Target Account Expansion with existing opportunities
- Manage entire opportunity creation process
- Work closely with sales team to drive quota/revenue attainment for a defined territory

Required background
- 3+ years working in enterprise software sales, preferably in an inside sales environment
- Bachelor's Degree/4 year Degree required
- Previous experience working in a high volume, phone based environment is a major plus
- Knowledge of Web 2.0/Content Management/Social Software technologies is a plus
- Teamwork, communication and cross-group collaboration skills are necessary
