Hi -- I'll be staying with a friend in Islington for DrupalCon and commuting each day to Croydon for the conference. Is the southern rail line my best bet to get to the conference or are there other options I should be looking into?

Anyone wants to share a hotel room near the venue? I've got a booking in Hallmark Croydon Hotel for tuesday and wednesday. Rooms with internet access, tv etc... Only for 65 pounds per person for 2 nights.

Lesser known small museums?

and that covers all of the big name sites. This isn't my first trip to London, I'd like to explore some smaller museums. I like house museums or smaller quirky museums.

The last time I was there my husband and I stumbled upon Sir John Soane's museum. It was so lovely! Jam packed of artwork, great collections and it's always great to see how people lived.
