Web Designer/Drupal Front End Developer

Opportunity for a keen, skilled and experienced designer to join established Design team within Dennis Interactive, The digital arm of Dennis Publishing.
This role involves working across our portfolio of brands including Bizarre, PCPro &Auto Express to produce high quality interactive products ranging from advertising campaigns and microsites to editorial developments and new launches.
The successful candidate will be passionate about and capable of producing strong, highly intuitive interactive design and layout. They will need to be self-motivated and able to provide project management support and documentation as well as demonstrate creative problem solving abilities using a multitude of skills.
Attributes:
• Will have extensive experience within challenging interactive design environment.
• Will have intermediate Drupal experience
• Demonstrate ability to scope projects
• Ensure the use of ‘best practices’ in the design and development of Internet projects.
• Must be able to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience managing client relationships and expectations

Technical skill set:

• CSS & HTML (Clean, W3C compliant, modular, comprehensively marked up, cross-browser, cross-platform compliant)
• Drupal build and theming experience
• Strong Photoshop/Illustrator skills
• JavaScript (AJAX)
• Flash action script (AS2&3)
Also beneficial:
• Flex/AIR application build
• Mobile app experience
• PHP & Database integrations
• Version control systems
Joining an established dynamic unit, strong communication and organisation skills are essential ‘team player’ prerequisites.
