What are we looking for?
Acquia is looking for Program and Project Managers who have a passion for delivering killer web experiences and wowing their customers. You get to lead a team of some of the best talent in the Drupal and web development communities (from both Acquia and from our top-notch partners around the world) to guide government, academic institutions, and large and small businesses to make the most of the power of Drupal and open source. Positions are available locally in Boston, Washington DC, Portland OR, London UK, or for those willing to travel from where ever their home base is!
What will you do?
Engagements can range from brief assessments to large scale site deployments. Responsibilities include the successful leadership of project teams, management of scope, budgets, and schedules, and coordination of internal resources and Acquia Partners. Acquia Project Managers clearly communicate to their clients and teams, successfully organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and develop strong business relationships with their clients.
What do you bring to the team?
- Passion for building teams, for the web, and for helping us build a hot and growing start-up
- 3 to 10 years experience wrangling large web development projects
- Experience partnering with large enterprise customers and collaborating with delivery partners and subcontractors
- Strong problem solving abilities, intelligence, initiative, and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is rewarded
- Bachelors or Masters degree preferred
