Drupal Developer

An opportunity for a Web Developer to join the established development team within Dennis Interactive - the digital arm of Dennis Publishing.

This role involves working across our portfolio of 20+ brands including CloudPro.co.uk, Carbuyer.co.uk, ExpertReviews.co.uk, Kontraband.com and AutoExpress.co.uk to develop and integrate front and back end functionality using open source technologies.

You will have solid PHP and Drupal experience building and implementing complex websites in a commercial environment.

You must be able to work independently on projects as well as being able to collaborate as a strong team member, with excellent attention to detail.

Technical skill set:
● Drupal 6 or 7 (Module development, Views, Features, etc)
● PHP 5.x (object-oriented and procedural) and MySQL 5.x
● OO JavaScript / AJAX (eg jQuery)
● HTML, CSS, web standards
● Linux command line
● Version control systems

Also beneficial:
● Agile/Scrum/Kanban and test or behaviour driven development (TDD / BDD)
● Distributed VCS ( Mercurial, Git)
● Continuous integration / DevOps tools
